Rare alms-box, alms-box for begging in wood and forged iron.An alms-box with two skulls with crossed bones on the sides.

It was probably an alms-box used for the suffrage of the dead souls in purgatory. In fact, in the central part you can see a few remains of a painting and you seem to glimpse faces and flames.An object of about 400 years with a mysterious and fascinating history. The original internal anti-snatch metal net is still present. One of the two hinges as you can see in the attached photos is partially damaged.
